Mary Weatherford: Moon Eclipse, Court 5 Altadena Town & Country
Mary Weatherford: Moon Eclipse, Court 5 Altadena Town & Country
Details
The newest edition in the MOCA Projects Council’s artist multiple series features a striking lithograph by Mary Weatherford. Inspired by a vivid partial lunar eclipse observed on a clear September night in 2024 from the Altadena Town & Country Club—just months before the clubhouse was lost to the Eaton Fire—the work captures a moment of beauty and impermanence.
Produced in collaboration with Cirrus Gallery, the print utilizes high-density black ink to achieve extraordinary detail and tonal depth. Proceeds from the edition will directly benefit MOCA and support its mission.
