This zine is a closer look at Jennifer West's commission for the Culture Wall Project displayed in December 2016 in England.

As You Change, So Do I, was a contemporary public art project, which ran from 2016 to 2019. Commissioned by Luton Culture, and delivered by a curatorial team headed by lead artist, Mark Titchner, As You Change, So Do I promoted and commissioned major projects in the public realm alongside a program of performances, projections, screenings, and talks. Artists created new public works in response to Luton’s unique industrial and cultural history.

Jennifer West's commission featured words and slogans taken from corporate tech slogans such as “Disruption” and 18th-century Dutch sayings “Expect Even Better” overlaid digitally onto painted, scratched, printed, and splattered scrolling 70mm filmstrips. The aminations were projected nightly throughout December and January of 2016.
