A Love Note.

These works were started in 1997, when I realized that I was not going to die from AIDS. A profound psychological pivot that allowed me to explore a variety of art making strategies.

Engaging with this work in 2024, I've come to recognize that the underlying subtext is love.

Love for humanity, community, art, family, friends and lovers.

My hope is that you will find the work compelling and fun.

I'd like to dedicate this show to the memory of three individuals who first taught me to love, my father, mother and sister, Salvador, Inez & Linda, I thank you.
