Gaetano Pesce: Medium Indian Summer Vase in Fumè and Turquoise
Fish Design by Gaetano Pesce
Fish Design was created by Gaetano Pesce in the mid-1990s, in New York. The idea was to elevate the singularity, the human uniqueness above all, as opposed to homologation and standardization. The formula lies in the resin, able to turn into endless shapes and textures. The Fish Design project considers the artisan to be an essential part of the process: he must interpret each piece, from the choice of colors to the distribution of the material. This is the fundamental spirit of the collection and the reason why every Fish Design item is different and unique.
During his career, which spans four decades with commissions in architecture, urban planning, interior, exhibition, and industrial design, Gaetano Pesce, architect and designer, has conceived public and private projects in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. In all his work, he expresses a guiding principle: modernism is not merely a style, but a method for interpreting the present and hinting at the future in which individuality is preserved and celebrated.
Each piece is expertly handcrafted to order, so slight variations in hue, color distribution, and dimensions may occur from those shown in the images, which feature the vase in the Large size. Please note that the proportions will differ when ordering the Medium size.
