Diana Thater's video "gorillagorillagorilla," continues the artist's merging of fictive cinematic space and the physical exhibition space in order to disrupt the viewer's position and perception of identity.

The large-format video installations analyses the complexity of nature and its relationship with mankind. Her new work, Gorillagorillagorilla is a study of human and animal behavior and the artist's further investigation of the medium of video as an image production tool. The pictorial section comprises both installation shots from the Kunsthaus Graz and a photographic essay by Diana Thater with pictorial material generated during the filming of Gorillagorillagorilla in Cameroon.
