Sisters of Arp is Los Angeles based Lara Schnitgers clothing line. Lara has utilized clothing in her sculptures for many years and launched Sisters of Arp in 2013 at the Anton Kern gallery in NYC. The line is handmade silkscreens stacked around Lara's studio became the inspiration for these one of a kind silk scarves. The images appear by removing the color from the dyed fabrics, creating a harmonious discharge that reveals shadows of the stenciled forms.
